Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions seeks a Project Coordinator to support the Site Manager on large-scale CCGT and power generation projects. You will coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and I&C activities, contributing to safe, quality-driven execution and alignment with schedule and budget goals.

The role requires 5+ years in utility-scale or EPC construction, familiarity with gas/steam turbines and HRSGs, and experience with Procore or Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience with utility-scale power generation, industrial construction, energy infrastructure, or EPC projects.
• Experience supporting construction of large industrial facilities with multiple disciplines and subcontractors.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation systems in power facilities.
• Familiarity with combined cycle power plants, gas turbine systems, HRSGs, and related energy infrastructure projects.
• Experience using project management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site construction activities across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and I&C systems.
• Assist Site Manager in overseeing construction of major power assets (gas turbines, steam turbines, HRSGs, balance-of-plant systems).
• Coordinate subcontractors, craft labor, vendors, and field engineering teams to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Help manage project schedules, work sequencing, and turnover milestones for startup and commissioning.
• Monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specs, quality, environmental, and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve field issues affecting constructability, interfaces, productivity, and schedule.
• Participate in site inspections, progress meetings, turnover walks, punch lists, and commissioning readiness reviews.
• Support system completion, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and plant startup activities.
• Maintain accurate project documentation (daily reports, changes, turnover packages, as-built docs).
• Assist with workforce planning, site logistics, material management, and equipment coordination.
• Promote safety culture aligned with Quanta's incident-free execution.
