Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC, a Quanta Services company, seeks an Assistant Project Manager I (APM I) to assist the Project Manager with coordination of engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction activities across development and execution phases.

The role supports multiple projects, engages in value engineering, and helps prepare project schedules and monthly reviews. Travel up to 50% may be required; strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field; or combination of work and education.
• 2+ years of construction project experience including planning, estimating, bidding, purchasing, scheduling, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution of the project.
• Assist PM in developing initial project schedules with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Support subcontractor and vendor scope development and schedule exhibits.
• Collaborate with Safety personnel on project safety plan and incident reporting.
• Assist with monthly project reviews and financial closeouts.
• Assist with RFI submittals using QISG’s document management system.
• Provide feedback to improve deliverables across technical, commercial, and administrative areas.
• Support procurement of purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Monitor design, procurement, and construction progress.
• Assist in project close-out, warranty administration, and lessons learned.
