Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Production Technician in Hayward, CA. You will assemble panelboards/switchboards, test units, and verify electrical/mechanical integrity per drawings and instructions.

Qualifications include at least one year in assembly or a 1-year technical diploma. You must lift 35 lbs, work overtime, and reside within 50 miles of the site. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards/switchboards to customer specs using hand/power tools.
• Inspect/test finished products to ensure quality per drawings.
• Follow Lean/5S and safety guidelines in daily tasks.
• Receive and store materials; prepare products for shipment.
• Cross-train across functions as needed to meet production demands.
