Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Production Technician in Hayward, California. The hourly rate is $24 per hour and this position is eligible for a variable incentive program.

You will assemble panelboards and switchboards from electrical drawings, inspect finished products, and perform wiring with hand tools. The role requires lifting up to 35 lbs, occasional overtime, and the ability to work within a team following lean and 5S practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of assembly experience or completion of a one-year Technical School diploma.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the work location; no relocation support.
• No immigration sponsorship or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT allowed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble panelboards and switchboards based on drawings and work instructions.
• Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and conformance to specs.
• Perform electrical wiring assembly using hand tools and power tools.
• Maintain progress and communicate shortages or issues.
• Prepare finished products for shipment and support lean initiatives.
