Job summary

The Assembly Lead position at Panelmatic, Inc. will guide one or more production teams in our manufacturing environment, ensuring that work is completed on time and in compliance with policies. You will assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and coach associates to maintain quality and safety standards.

Working with management, you will drive process improvements, schedule workflow, and help maintain an efficient, collaborative shop floor focused on reliable delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as a shop lead or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to read industrial drawings and specifications.
• Experience working in a safe ISO 9001 certified environment.
• Two or more years of experience in UL and NEC codes.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check.
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours.
• Alignment with company core values.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff to produce manufactured products and organizes workflow.
• Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Recruits, selects, onboards, trains, and mentors employees.
• Maintains workflow by monitoring and upgrading processes, setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources, studying methods, implementing cost reductions, developing reporting procedures and systems, facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points, and initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
• Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards.
