Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Lead to supervise production teams and optimize assembly workflows. The role focuses on completing tasks timely, assigning daily duties, monitoring progress, and training staff to uphold quality and safety standards.

The Assembly Lead will collaborate with management to drive process improvements in manufacturing. A strong emphasis on ISO 9001 practices and UL/NEC code familiarity is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Two or more years of experience as a shop lead or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read industrial drawings and specifications.
• Experience in a safe ISO 9001 certified environment.
• Two or more years of experience in UL and NEC codes.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours.
• Alignment with company core values.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff to produce manufactured products and organizes workflow.
• Plans, monitors, coaches, and enforces job expectations and policies.
• Recruits, selects, onboards, trains, and mentors employees.
• Maintains workflow by optimizing processes and resources.
• Schedules personnel and prioritizes shift production.
• Maintains quality by enforcing standards.
• Ensures equipment operation and evaluates new tech.
• Documents production performance and responds to requests.
• Develops procedures and implements improvements.
• Ensures safety and a clean working environment.
• Maintains relations with union representatives per contract.
• Resolves personnel problems using data and investigation.
• Keeps current with professional knowledge via workshops.
