Job summary

SOLV Energy in Cheyenne is seeking an Operations Electrical Superintendent to supervise electrical projects and ensure successful completion. This role requires extensive experience in electrical construction and strong leadership skills, enabling the company to maintain its commitment to safety and quality.

Candidates should have a working knowledge of relevant safety standards and substantial experience in supervising utility-scale solar construction. The position entails heavy travel along with partial remote work. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 15 years of extensive electrical construction experience with 10 years at a supervisory level.
• 5 years' experience in utility scale solar construction.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, NFPA70e, NEC, and IEEE standards.
• 5 years’ experience with MV testing and terminations.
• 5 years’ experience with SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical projects resulting in successful project completion.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, safety, and quality.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Enforce safety procedures and conduct training.
• Review and approve energized electrical work permits.

Skills

Operations management experience

Extensive electrical construction experience

Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA70e, NEC, IEEE standards

Knowledge of job scheduling and cost control

Proficient in AC/DC underground installations

Experience with inverter skid installation

Strong knowledge of electrical testing and commissioning
