Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to supervise electrical field operations for utility-scale solar and related projects. You will oversee crews, enforce safety, manage CPM schedules, and coordinate with Owners, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, quality project delivery.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and submittals, leading meetings, and supporting commissioning, RFIs, and turnover.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of field construction experience at a supervisory level; 10 years preferred.
• Utility-scale solar construction experience preferred (minimum 5 years).
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, NEC, and IEEE standards and codes.
• Demonstrated expertise in job scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical field operations and project teams.
• Enforce safety procedures and lead safety training.
• Manage CPM project schedules to ensure timely, cost-effective completion.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, schedules, and submittals from preconstruction through turnover.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and subcontractors.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate field personnel.
• Coordinate field construction activities for utility-scale solar projects, ensuring safety, quality, and design standards.
• Oversee multiple crews and subcontractors across sites and regions.
• Ensure work meets specifications and quality control standards.
• Order and track materials, tools, and equipment with procurement teams.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation: daily reports, time sheets, work orders.
• Lead pre-job, progress, and subcontractor coordination meetings.
• Support RFIs, submittals, commissioning, and start-up testing; ensure timely close-out.
