Job summary

SB Energy seeks a senior Manager of electrical procurement engineering to lead OFCI power equipment for data center projects. You will own the product roadmap, procurement requirements, and acceptance decisions for high‑voltage subsystems, cooperating with clients, OEMs, and vendors.

Expect ownership of TCO, staffing, and international collaboration. From day one you will drive independent decisions, push innovation, and build a capable team with domain expertise across distribution, backup

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 12+ years in electrical equipment engineering, procurement engineering, OEM engineering, or mission-critical power infrastructure.
• Experience leading engineering teams and developing category specialists.
• Deep knowledge of medium- and low-voltage distribution, UPS, generators, protection, and reliability.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally to factories, test facilities, client locations.

Responsibilities

• Personally lead electrical technical decisions from day one and prioritize deliverables.
• Coach, develop, and manage direct reports to establish ownership across power packages.
• Own equipment specifications, Basis of Design, and interfaces; translate client needs into procurement requirements.
• Own the electrical product roadmap, evaluate technology, and drive multi-sourcing.
• Define FAT/FWT/SAT criteria and drive acceptance testing and deviations when needed.
• Lead proposals, drawings, calculations, and compliance reviews with clients and vendors.
