Job summary

Related Digital is seeking a Director of Procurement to lead sourcing and category execution for OFCI equipment on its data center development projects. The role involves hands-on management of generators, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, cooling infrastructure, and related components.

The ideal candidate has substantial procurement leadership experience, strong negotiation skills, and a track record of delivering on multi-site, capital‑intensive projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of procurement or sourcing experience in mechanical, electrical, or power equipment.
• Experience negotiating and administering contracts with OEMs and suppliers.
• Familiarity with long-lead time equipment procurement in capital-intensive projects.
• Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel to assigned project sites and work across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day sourcing and procurement of OFCI equipment for assigned projects.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery commitments with OEMs and suppliers.
• Track lead times and delivery schedules against milestones; flag risks.
• Process purchase orders, change orders, and contract administration.
• Coordinate with Design & Construction and site teams on equipment specs and delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance and coordinate testing with engineering/quality teams.
• Support category strategy development and market intelligence gathering.
• Contribute to cost savings and total cost of ownership improvements.
• Maintain procurement records, budgets, and project reporting.
