Job summary

Aligned Data Centers is seeking a Procurement Manager, Substation Equipment to own the OFE supply chain for data center substation projects. The role blends strategic purchasing with project management in a hybrid environment, requiring collaboration across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

The candidate will forecast, plan, and manage equipment delivery through turnover, manage vendor relationships, and present strategies to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with electrical equipment and substation construction preferred.
• Strong negotiation, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting skills.
• 25%+ travel required, some international travel.
• Proficient with Excel and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic purchasing and project management of OFE for data center substation projects.
• Lead collaboration between engineering, procurement, PM, and construction teams.
• Forecast, plan, and deliver equipment through delivery, installation, commissioning and turnover.
• Build and oversee vendor relationships and purchasing strategies.
• Present procurement strategy to senior leadership for funding requests.
• Track schedules, budgets, documentation, submittals, and invoices.
• Collaborate with site construction managers to deliver projects.
