Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an Electrical Engineer II for factory production support in McKinney, TX. The role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance and prior experience with circuit card assemblies and test equipment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
• Experience with standard electrical test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings or electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Investigate failure trends, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address systemic issues.
• Support troubleshooting and repairs for circuit card assemblies (CCAs), sub-assemblies, and systems for programs at McKinney CMC.
• Develop and maintain troubleshooting aids, tools, and documentation to support production and test processes.
• Work initiatives focused on reducing cycle time, minimizing touch time, and optimizing overall production costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges in production.
• Operate and utilize standard electrical equipment (oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, etc.) to support troubleshooting and system evaluations.
• The work assignment will be a first-shift role, with flexible start times ranging from 7am to 8am, Monday through Friday with an optional 9/80 schedule.
• Occasional weekend work may be required to support factory operations.
