AppleOne Technical Staffing seeks an Electrical-Mechanical Technician for a temp-to-hire role in Fremont, CA, supporting advanced semiconductor and electronics manufacturing equipment. You will collaborate with engineering and production on assemblies, machine start-up, I/O checkout, and troubleshooting, with a schedule from 6:00 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Build electrical assemblies including panels, cables, wiring per schematics.
• Assemble mechanical systems using drawings, drilling, tapping, and hand tools.
• Support machine bring-up, start-up, I/O checkout, and troubleshooting on development builds.
• Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, motion control, and I/O issues with PC-based tools.
• Collaborate with engineering on BOMs, drawings, and control systems.
• Assist production and customer-site troubleshooting as needed.

We are seeking an Electrical-Mechanical Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Fremont, CA, supporting advanced semiconductor and electronics manufacturing equipment. This is a hands-on role ideal for a technician who enjoys building, testing, troubleshooting, and bringing complex electrical and mechanical systems to life in a fast-paced production environment.

The Electrical-Mechanical Technician will work closely with engineering, production, and technical teams on complex assemblies, machine start-up, I/O checkout, and system-level troubleshooting. This opportunity offers exposure to advanced capital equipment, supportive leadership, collaborative teamwork, and a strong path for continued technical growth in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Build complex electrical assemblies, including panel layouts, cables, wiring, and components according to schematics.
• Assemble mechanical systems using drawings, blueprints, drilling, tapping, and common hand and power tools.
• Support machine bring-up, start-up, I/O checkout, and troubleshooting during production and development builds.
• Troubleshoot electrical, software, PLC, motion control, and I/O subsystem issues using PC-based software and test equipment.
• Partner with engineering on bills of materials, drawings, schematics, software, and control system issues.
• Support production floor operations and assist with troubleshooting activities at customer facilities as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $26 to $29 per hour.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Employment type: Temp-to-hire.
• Location: Fremont, CA 94538.
• Background check required.
