Job summary

The Memphis Plant of The Hershey Company has immediate openings for Industrial Maintenance Technician II to work in our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility. Maintenance technicians are skilled in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with primary responsibility to maintain and optimize manufacturing equipment and systems, including preventive maintenance and repairs.

Starting pay is $36.05 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential for 2nd or 3rd shift, overtime potential, an $8,000 sign-on

Qualifications

• Journeyman's card from a state approved program or 5–7 years hands-on electrical/mechanical maintenance experience.
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift and overtime, including weekends.
• Ability to pass maintenance skill assessments and NOCTI exam.

Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance and repair per NEC/NFPA 70‑E.
• Preventive maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors, and production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical faults and troubleshoot issues.
• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and specifications.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate with production to minimize downtime.
