Job summary

The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 2 at Memphis, TN, is responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance on all equipment installed at the location. This is a 2nd shift role (5pm–5am) with overtime and occasional weekend work as required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; vocational technical training preferred.
• Able to lift/move material up to 50 pounds; climb ladders safely.
• Experience with preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift (5pm–5am) and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking and lubrication.
• Complete preventive maintenance routines and document procedures.
• Create and close work orders with data on labor, equipment, and parts used.
• Troubleshoot semi-complex conveyance issues and resolve faults.
• Locate and track spare parts from inventory.
• Develop positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
