Job summary

Vertiv Co is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative, predictive, and repair maintenance on production and facility equipment, as well as assist with installation or relocation of equipment. The role requires adaptability to all shifts, potential overtime, and strict safety adherence.

The ideal candidate has experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, proficiency with testing tools like a Multi-Meter, and knowledge of welding processes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years' experience preferred.
• Siemens CNC and/or PLC automation background preferred.
• Required to use, and be proficient with, welding equipment (acetylene torch, stick, MIG-wire welder) when needed.
• Proficient in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems with a proven mechanical ability.
• Proficient in using a computer for accessing and entering work orders.

Responsibilities

• Required to perform Preventative, Predictive, and Repair maintenance on production equipment, facility equipment, buildings, and grounds using appropriate documents/tools.
• Required to aid in the installation or relocation of equipment.
• Required to work any shift, weekends, shutdowns, and overtime when needed.
• May be required to do other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.
• Required to adhere to all safety rules.
• Special requirements: maintain regular attendance and can work in a team environment.
• Self-motivated.
• Machines and Equipment involved: use of Multi-Meter, Oscilloscope preferred, and other electrical measuring devices.
