Job summary

nVent is seeking a maintenance-oriented professional to repair and maintain production equipment in a manufacturing setting. The role requires diagnosing mechanical issues, performing timely repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Candidates should have 1+ years of mechanical maintenance experience and the ability to read design documents. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with training from trade school or military considered.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as design.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all production equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical machine malfunctions and operating difficulties.
• Implement repairs and adjustments on machines.
• Make emergency repairs to limit downtime and production delays.
• Make periodic preventative maintenance checks and lubricate all production machinery.
• Assist in building equipment parts and experimental machines to work order specifications.
• Assist in coordinating material requisitions needed for projects.
