Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer II for factory production support in McKinney, TX. You will work with engineering, factory management, program management, and operations to improve test results, root cause issues, and process yields.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with standard electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
• Experience reading mechanical drawings or electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting for failing test systems and identify root causes.
• Investigate failure trends and perform RCA to address systemic issues.
• Support troubleshooting and repairs for CCAs, sub-assemblies, and systems for programs at McKinney CMC.
• Develop and maintain troubleshooting aids, tools, and documentation for production and test processes.
• Work to reduce cycle time, minimize touch time, and optimize production costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to overcome production challenges.
• Operate standard electrical equipment to support troubleshooting and evaluations.
• First-shift role with start times 7am–8am, Monday–Friday; possible 9/80 schedule.
