Job summary

RTX is seeking a Manufacturing Electrical/Test Engineer II for our Melbourne, FL site. You will develop, verify, and sustain test processes, equipment, and procedures for manufacturing Collins Aerospace products.

This onsite role offers relocation assistance and opportunities to improve test yields, equipment reliability, and production readiness while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing with product testing focus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cross-functional efforts to improve test yields and production throughput.
• Identify test failure trends and perform root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Study performance of test equipment and develop programs to decrease downtime.
• Analyze test approaches for cost reduction and capacity opportunities.
• Provide capacity planning and utilization analysis for staffing and equipment needs.
• Select and order capital test equipment with cost/payback analysis.
• Improve test fixtures and participate in Production Readiness Reviews.
• Support Gage R&R efforts for new test solutions.
