Job summary

RTX is seeking a highly skilled engineer to design, build, and integrate state-of-the-art electrical test systems for defense products. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure devices meet stringent performance and reliability standards.

The role requires hands-on lab work, detailed schematics, and collaboration across systems engineering, with a focus on delivering robust test architectures for lifecycle support.

Qualifications

• Advanced STEM degree must be obtained by start date.
• Experience selecting and integrating passive and active components in analog or digital circuit designs.
• Experience operating laboratory test equipment to test hardware and measure electrical signals.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, coursework, labs or projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate specialized electrical test products and fixtures for defense systems.
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and documentation adhering to defense standards.
• Validate hardware performance using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power meters.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical anomalies and integration issues.
• Support project execution to meet technical, schedule, and budget commitments.
• Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers to deliver robust test architectures.
