Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer to own PCBA design for manufacturability, test strategy, and embedded hardware bring‑up on the production line. You will collaborate with design, FPGA, and test teams to deliver high‑reliability defense hardware.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in electrical manufacturing, strong ECAD skills, and experience with MIL‑STD quality standards. This role emphasizes hands‑on problem solving on complex boards and EMS collaboration.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent engineering field.
• 3+ years in electrical manufacturing, PCBA industrialization, or hardware engineering on aerospace/defense/medical/telecom.
• Proficiency with ECAD tools (Altium/Cadence/Mentor).
• Hands‑on PCBA production experience with SMT, reflow, and DFM principles.
• Scripting in Python or Bash for automation, test logging, or hardware control.
• Embedded interfaces: CAN, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART, JTAG; IPC‑A‑610/J‑STD‑001 knowledge.
• U.S. Person status required to access export‑controlled data.

Responsibilities

• Define DFM/DFA/DFT for complex multilayer PCBA boards and ensure manufacturability with production processes.
• Define Production Test Strategy: ICT, flying probe, boundary scan, functional verification; set test limits and fault coverage.
• Lead embedded hardware bring‑up, firmware interfaces, and test hooks; collaborate with software/FPGA teams.
• Enforce Mil‑Spec quality standards; lead failure analysis and root cause investigations on production fallouts.
• Manage EMS partner qualification and transition Engineering BOMs to production BOMs; write SOPs for electronics handling.
