Job summary

JBS USA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech for the 2nd shift to troubleshoot and repair production-line equipment, inspect electromechanical systems, and install wiring according to NEC standards. The role requires PLC knowledge, blueprints reading, and strong safety practices in a fast-paced food-processing environment.

Qualifications

• Industrial/commercial electrical background with high-speed production line experience.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics; perform troubleshooting.
• Experience with PLCs and high-voltage systems; maintain safety procedures.
• 3–5 years installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining production-line equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production line equipment.
• Inspect, maintain and overhaul electromechanical and electrical equipment using test gear.
• Install electrical/wiring per NEC and company standards.
• Maintain records and support safety procedures and maintenance programs.
• Read engineering drawings to install and calibrate electrical apparatus.
• Repair and replace faulty equipment including controls, meters and panels.
