Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech for first shift in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing line equipment, reading blueprints, wiring installations, and maintaining electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Qualified candidates have 3–5 years in production line maintenance, strong electrical background, and proficiency with PLCs and test equipment. Overtime and weekend hours may be required in emergencies.

Qualifications

• Industrial / commercial electrical background with production line experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Proficient in using electrical test equipment safely.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code compliance.
• 3–5 years of production line maintenance experience.
• Willing to work overtime and outside hours if needed.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production line equipment.
• Inspect and repair electromechanical and electrical systems with meters and tools.
• Maintain equipment to ensure safe operation and reliability.
• Install electrical and electronic equipment per NEC and standards.
• Maintain drive systems, PLCs, and control panels.
• Read engineering drawings to install and calibrate equipment.
• Establish and follow scheduled maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with operations during outages or emergencies.
• Document maintenance activities and update drawings.
• Support plant maintenance department with 24/7 readiness.
