Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience reading electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control docs.
• Background installing machines and electrical control systems.
• Interpret control drawings and troubleshoot effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current documentation for electrical and control systems.
• Assist Mechanics and Electro-Mechanics in diagnosing electrical issues.
• Coordinate training and activities of Electro-Mechanics across shifts.
• Occasionally work offsite to support troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ensure production equipment is maintained per the production schedule.
• Conduct electrical and mechanical inspections safely while equipment runs.
• Address repairs during downtime following specs from company/vendor.
• Work independently or with a mechanic to fix faults and restore production.
• Perform maintenance on control systems including networks, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and components.
• Maintain secondary systems: steam, hot/cold water, pneumatic air, power, refrigeration, HVAC, emissions control.
• Keep accurate work records per work orders and job assignments.
