Job summary
Electrical Automation Services is seeking an experienced on-site Electrical Maintenance Technician in Swedesboro, NJ to maintain and improve electrical and control systems for food manufacturing processes. You will document all work, troubleshoot issues, and support production alongside mechanics across shifts.
The role emphasizes safety, GMP compliance, and timely repairs to minimize downtime, with opportunities to train teams and travel as needed.
Qualifications
- AS/AAS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
- High school or military training with related experience.
- Familiarity with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi software.
- Ability to read electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and control documentation.
- Knowledge of control drawings, P&ID and basic troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain documentation for electrical and control systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical or control-related issues with mechanics.
- Provide training and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across shifts.
- Occasionally work offsite to support troubleshooting and repairs.
- Perform preventive, scheduled, or corrective maintenance on control systems.
