Job summary

MAC Incorporated in Wadsworth, OH is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd shift team on MON-FRI 2PM-10PM or 3rd shift 10PM-6AM. The role requires strong electrical maintenance experience with PLC logic and drive-to-motor interfaces to keep extrusion production lines running safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years in industrial maintenance, hands-on PLC/VFD work, and the ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in electrical maintenance (required).
• Experience with PLC logic controls and drive-to-motor interfaces.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment including extrusion lines, pelletizers, blenders, and auxiliary systems
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform scheduled preventative maintenance
• Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs
• Diagnose and repair PLC-controlled systems and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and complete work orders accurately
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
• Assist with occasional fabrication (welding), screw pulls, and machine changeovers
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and technical documents
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all safety protocols
