Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Avon, OH facility on the 2nd shift to diagnose electrical and mechanical failures on production equipment and perform repairs that prevent downtime.

You'll troubleshoot PLCs, motor controls and VFDs, read electrical schematics, and work with electronic technicians and engineers to maintain heavy manufacturing systems on-site. This permanent role includes benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED with 6–10 years heavy manufacturing maintenance experience or journeyman certification.
• Ability to troubleshoot 240V and 400V three-phase circuits, VFDs, motors, and sensors.
• Experience reading ladder logic and using PLC software to trace faults and identify faulty components.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical failures on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and machine controls.
• Repair wiring, breakers, fuses, relays on production machinery and facility systems.
• Perform preventive inspections and identify root causes; apply lockout procedures.
