Wieland Group in Shelbyville, KY is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment on-site. You will read blueprints, inspect electrical components, and report issues to ensure safe and reliable operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing with electrical controls knowledge, experience with PLC and VFDs (Siemens preferred), and the ability to work rotating day/night shifts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with strong electrical knowledge.
• 5 years of experience in industrial electrical field.
• PLC and VFD experience; Siemens preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical building and equipment maintenance.
• Troubleshoot production equipment controlled by PLCs (Siemens S7/TIA).
• Troubleshoot VSDs/VFDs (Siemens preferred).
• Read equipment manuals and work orders; perform repairs and maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components.
• Use hand and power tools and meters to diagnose issues.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.
