Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and 6–10 years of heavy manufacturing maintenance experience or journeyman certification; electrical and mechanical knowledge sufficient to diagnose equipment failures independently.
• Troubleshoot 240V and 400V three‑phase circuitry, low‑voltage controls, AC/DC motors, VFDs, encoders, and transducers using multimeters, ammeters, and electrical schematics.
• Read PLC ladder logic to trace faults and identify failed components.
• Repair or replace wiring, circuit breakers, fuses, switches, contactors, relays, and electrical/electronic components on production machinery and facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot 240V and 400V three‑phase circuitry and low‑voltage controls.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment failures and perform repairs.
• Read and interpret PLC programs and ladder logic to trace faults.
• Perform preventive inspections and respond to breakdowns, applying lockout procedures.
