Job summary

Arkema Inc. is seeking an Electrical Team Lead in Texas to supervise on-site electrical technicians and contractors, ensuring high‑voltage maintenance, safe operations, and reliability across the facility. You will coordinate with instrument and process teams to meet production goals.

You will guide day-to-day maintenance activities, perform troubleshooting and installations, and develop testing procedures for critical equipment while adhering to HSE policies and site standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years field maintenance experience with high voltage distribution equipment.
• Education: High school diploma; Instrument/Electrical technical degree or certifications preferred.
• Familiarity with NEC and NFPA70E; knowledge of industrial instrumentation and control loops is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily activities of the Electrical Technicians and ensure maintenance and PMs are completed on time and per policy (20%).
• Oversee troubleshooting, repairs, calibration and new installation tasks for electrical work per maintenance schedule (15%).
• As a working team lead, perform day-to-day duties of an instrumentation & electrical maintenance technician as needed (15%).
• Ensure functional testing on equipment; conduct pre-installation checks on control valves; support on-site contractor work (15%).
• Establish preventative and predictive maintenance; document failed calibrations and corrective actions (10%).
• Assist with development of electrical technicians, including training and contractor oversight (15%).
• Other Duties as Assigned (10%): repair reports, reliability interface, meetings, weekly updates, RCA/incident investigations.
