Job summary

Arkema is seeking an Electrical Technician to join the IEC craft group at our Alabama chemical facility. The role involves calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instrumentation and electrical systems, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include supporting external contract services, participating in safety discussions, and maintaining documentation. The candidate should have a technical certification, CPR training, and 5+ years of related experience or 2

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant technical certification.
• Requires annual OSHA-approved CPR training.
• Minimum 5 years related experience or 2 years of college/trade school in addition to High School Diploma.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel).
• Proficiency in plant software CMMS and PI or similar.

Responsibilities

• Participate in IEC craft group and maintenance tasks.
• Execute work orders per IEC craft schedule.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Support and coordinate with external I&E contract services.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment per HSE procedures.
