Job summary

Arkema is seeking an Electrical Technician to support the IEC craft group in a chemical manufacturing facility. You will assist with calibration, troubleshooting and maintenance of instrument and electrical systems, while upholding HSE guidelines and participating in safety toolbox discussions.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, a technical certification in industrial electrical/instrument/control/HVAC, annual OSHA CPR training, and 5+ years of related experience (or 2

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Technical certification in industrial electrical/instrument/control/HVAC systems.
Annual OSHA-approved CPR training.
Minimum 5 years related experience and/or 2 years of college/trade school beyond high school.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).
Proficiency with plant-specific software (CMMS, PI or similar).
Aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to collaborate across departments; strong team orientation.
Solid oral and written communication skills.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Self-motivation and multi-tasking ability with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Participates in IEC craft group and daily maintenance meetings.
Completes work orders and performs instrument/electrical tasks.
Maintains safe, clean working environment per HSE.
Calibrates, troubleshoots, and maintains instrument and electrical systems (pressure, flow, level, temp, pH).
Oversees environmental monitoring systems and packaging equipment.
Supports external I&E contract services and onsite controls activities.
Participates in safety incidents investigations and audits.
Assists planner/scheduler with coordinating external resources.
Provides after-hours on-call plant support as needed.
