Job summary

Arkema Inc. is seeking an Electrical Technician at a chemical manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Shift Leader, you will work with the IEC craft group to perform maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrument systems.

The role emphasizes safety, HSE compliance, and collaboration with planners, suppliers, and other departments. A technical certification and CPR training are required, along with experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must have a technical certification in industrial electrical/instrument/control/HVAC systems.
• Annual OSHA-approved CPR training required.
• Minimum 5 years related experience and/or 2 years of college/trade school beyond high school.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) and plant software CMMS/PI or similar.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Participates in IEC craft group and maintenance planning and meetings.
• Completes work order tasks per IEC craft schedule.
• Supports instrument and electrical tasks as required.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment per HSE procedures.
• Participates in safety activities and incident investigations.
• On-call support after hours as needed.
