Job summary

JE Dunn Advanced Facilities Group seeks an entry-level M/E Engineer 1 to support mechanical, electrical and field construction activities. You’ll collect data, learn to develop estimates, and assist in bid analysis under supervision, aligning with JE Dunn's safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and construction concepts
• Familiarity with budgeting/estimating processes preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs entry-level mechanical, electrical and field construction activities
• Learns to develop budgetary M/E estimates from program and design information
• Assists in bid analyses and subcontractor selection input
• Supports development of sequencing for various systems to meet schedules
• Learns to read design documents to identify constructability issues
• Supports shop drawing/submittal process and commissioning activities
