Job summary
IES is seeking a Residential Electrical Leadman/Service Technician in San Antonio to perform advanced electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, ensuring safety and code compliance on active projects.
Responsibilities include reviewing plans, diagnosing complex issues, and mentoring junior technicians while coordinating with internal teams and vendors to meet project timelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Relevant industry certifications or licenses preferred where necessary.
- Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting preferred.
- Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced technicians is a plus.
- Ability to work on active job sites and outdoors.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work.
- Review project plans, specifications, and work orders for accurate execution.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
- Coordinate with teammates, vendors, and departments on project activities.
- Maintain records and documentation of electrical work and activities.
- Assist with training and mentoring of junior technicians.
