Job summary

IES Residential Inc is seeking an Electrical Leadman to perform advanced installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems on active job sites in Texas. You will review plans, coordinate with crews, and ensure safety and code compliance.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring abilities.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
English speaking, reading, and writing preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings such as background and Motor Vehicle Record.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical systems and equipment.
Review project plans, specifications, and work orders to ensure accurate project execution.
Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure all work complies with company policies, safety standards, and electrical codes.
Coordinate with employees, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding project activities and operational needs.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to electrical work and project activities.
Assist with training, mentoring, and leading less experienced technicians as needed.
Monitor equipment, materials, and job site conditions to support operational efficiency and safety.
Support project timelines and assist with resolving operational concerns in the field.
