Job summary

TIC is seeking an Electrical Lead Project Engineer to oversee on-site electrical activities, ensuring safe, compliant execution of installation, testing, and commissioning. You will lead field engineers, coordinate with construction and design teams, and ensure schedules and quality meet project goals.

The role requires 5–10+ years in electrical field engineering, strong knowledge of power systems and NEC/IEEE standards, and the ability to travel to diverse site locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering.
• 5–10+ years in electrical field engineering, construction, commissioning.
• Experience leading field engineering teams on large projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and protection.
• Ability to read one‑line diagrams, wiring diagrams, P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical expertise for electrical systems.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and specs to support installation and commissioning.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide resolutions to minimize schedule disruptions.
• Lead field engineering teams with guidance and mentorship.
• Coordinate electrical installation activities with construction, mechanical, civil, and instrumentation teams.
• Review design documents for constructability and conflicts.
