Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an Electrical Lead Project Engineer to oversee all electrical engineering activities at the job site, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient execution from installation to testing and turnover. This mid-level role provides technical direction to field engineers, subcontractors, and construction teams.

You will coordinate with design teams and project management, review drawings, mentor staff, and ensure schedules and quality standards are met across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5–10+ years in electrical field engineering, construction, commissioning.
• Experience leading field engineering teams on large-scale projects.
• Ability to read one-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, P&IDs.
• Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E, OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical expertise for electrical systems, including power distribution, grounding, lighting, and control systems.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to support installation and commissioning.
• Lead field engineering teams with guidance and mentoring.
• Coordinate electrical activities with other disciplines to ensure seamless execution.
• Review design documents for constructability and identify improvements.
• Maintain safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on site.
