Job summary

HireArt is recruiting a Test Engineer, Electrical Integration Lab (EIL) to validate software and hardware for autonomous vehicles. You will execute tests on dynamometer systems and HIL assets, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with software and hardware teams in a fast-paced R&D environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical/related engineering and 4+ years in test/validation. Onsite in Foster City, CA, with comprehensive lab facilities and testing automation opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
4+ years in test, validation, or integration engineering.
Hands-on with electromechanical systems and HIL environments.
Experience with electrical lab equipment.
Experience documenting structured test plans.

Responsibilities

Execute manual and automated test plans on dynamometer systems and HIL assets to validate software releases.
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for software release cycles.
Monitor, record, and analyze test data to identify anomalies and performance trends.
Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
Document test procedures, results, defects, and findings clearly and accurately.
Maintain and troubleshoot lab infrastructure and develop automation to improve reliability.
Improve lab testing processes, tooling, and automation.
Manage test asset configurations and track hardware/software build states.
Execute software flashing procedures for ECUs and programmable components.
