Job summary

Triveni IT in Palo Alto, CA, is seeking experienced HIL engineers to build and validate hardware-in-the-loop systems from the ground up. You will design, configure, and troubleshoot HIL environments, ensuring robust integration of electrical interfaces and model-based testing.

You will work with MATLAB/Simulink models, dSPACE platforms, and CAN/LIN/Ethernet networks, collaborating with controls and software teams to deliver validated automotive test benches for complex vehicle domains.

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years of HIL engineering experience.
• Experience building or standing up a HIL system from scratch.
• Strong hands-on experience with dSPACE – Required.
• Experience working in system-level automotive validation environments.
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB / Simulink.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Ethernet.
• Experience with Vector CANoe/CANalyzer is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

A leading automotive engineering organization is expanding its Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) validation capability and is seeking experienced HIL Engineers for multiple openings.

This role requires engineers with hands-on experience building and standing up HIL systems from the ground up, including system setup, electrical integration, modeling, system integration, testing, and validation.

The client is specifically looking for candidates with direct automotive domain experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Low Voltage Systems - Highest Priority
• Body Control Systems
• Power Distribution / Electronic Fuses
• Motion Controls / Vehicle Dynamics
• Thermal Systems

General HIL or test engineering experience without direct experience in one of these domains will not be considered a strong fit.
