Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Corrugated facility in Augusta, GA is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our Maintenance team. You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and install plant electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will work with PLC/HMI/DCS systems, read schematics, and support downtime recovery. Flexible shifts, overtime, and weekend work are required as needed.

Qualifications

• Five years+ of electrical or instrument and control troubleshooting in manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, motor controls, control valves, electrical distribution, servo systems, DC/AC motors 24–480 V.
• Expert at reading electrical/mechanical schematics/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot/repair, calibrate, install plant electrical/instrumentation/automation equipment.
• Resolve downtime events quickly and effectively.
• Support operations to maintain machine centerline speeds.
