Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Corrugated, Albany, GA, is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join our Maintenance team. The role starts at $40+ per hour, depending on experience, and offers challenging work on plant electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems.

You will troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and install PLC, HMI, DCS, and related equipment, read schematics, and mentor peers while supporting on-call needs.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting industrial controls PLCs, motor controls, and electrical distribution.
• Skilled reading electrical schematics/blueprints.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 arc flash and OSHA safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and install plant electrical and instrumentation.
• Maintain PLC, HMI and DCS systems.
• Read electrical diagrams and interpret schematics.
• Mentor peers across multi-craft and EI&A topics.
