Job summary

Expect to work with PLCs, DCS, HMIs, and infrared diagnostics, with opportunities to mentor peers and participate in EI&A projects company-wide. Shift flexibility and on-call readiness are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical or instrument and control troubleshooting in manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, motor controls, control valves, electrical distribution, and servo systems.
• Expert level ability to read electrical schematics/blueprints.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 arc flash and OSHA safety regulations.
• Experience installing, calibrating, monitoring, modifying, and maintaining HMI and DCS instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment; perform preventative maintenance and installation.
• Resolve downtime events quickly and effectively.
• Support operations in maintaining machines at centerline conditions and standard operating speeds.
• Identify and initiate maintenance repairs to sustain equipment performance.
• Use specialized software and tools to maintain instrumentation, PLCs, DCS, and electrical systems.
• Install, calibrate, monitor, modify, program, and maintain PLC, HMI, and DCS control instrumentation.
• Read electrical diagrams, schematics and drawings; use testers to maintain motors and drives.
• Manage EI&A projects for new or existing installations; mentor peers across multi-craft teams.
