Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians for the Rincon, GA facility. The team maintains 24/7 operations with a 12-hour rotating schedule, holidays covered, and regular overtime opportunities.

Roles focus on preventing downtime and supporting production and quality goals with a strong emphasis on PLCs, instrumentation, and controls. Ideal candidates will have a two-year technical degree or equivalent industrial experience, and hands-on experience with electrical

Qualifications

Two-year technical degree or three years of industrial experience in electrical/instrumentation.
Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating electrical components.

Responsibilities

Share knowledge with other technicians for maintaining and troubleshooting PLCs, instrumentation, and controls.
Troubleshoot and install equipment at the component level in compliance with state, company plant codes, policies, and procedures.
Work on motors, pneumatic components, conveyor systems and production machines.
Participate in project planning support and new equipment installation.
