Georgia-Pacific's Naheola Mill in Pennington, AL, is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician. The role offers stability, growth, and purpose, with a starting pay of $42.69/hour and a schedule Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm.

Qualificações

• Three years or more of experience as a Journeyman Electrical and Instrumentation Technician in an industrial environment.
• Documentation of Journeyman status or two-year degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Technology obtained.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure proper operation of electrical/control system components including motors, PLC I/O modules and sensors.
• Share knowledge with other technicians for maintaining and troubleshooting PLCs, instrumentation and controls.
• Maintain and contribute to preventative and predictive maintenance program for manufacturing machinery.
• Apply applicable codes, reliability strategies, corporate and OEM standards.
• Improve operations productivity and quality by planning and coordinating labor, parts, material, tools and equipment access.
• Assist in developing and implementing reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
