Georgia-Pacific's Wauna Mill is seeking a Journeyman Instrumentation Technician to join our world-class maintenance team supporting one of the largest tissue manufacturing facilities in North America.
You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot industrial instrumentation and control systems, calibrate transmitters, valves and meters, and support PLC and DCS troubleshooting to keep operations reliable.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Oregon Electrician license - Limited Energy Technician Class B or higher.
- 1+ year journey level instrumentation experience.
- Experience with PLCs and DCS.
Responsabilités
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance using diagnostic equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial instrumentation, control systems and process equipment.
- Calibrate, configure and maintain transmitters, valves, actuators and meters.
- Support PLC and DCS troubleshooting to ensure reliable operations.
- Investigate failures and participate in RCA efforts.
- Update drawings and maintenance documentation; comply with safety standards.
- Collaborate with operations to drive continuous improvement.
