Job summary

Georgia-Pacific’s Naheola Mill in Pennington, AL is seeking experienced Maintenance Mechanics to support day shift operations, focusing on maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment to improve reliability, safety and production uptime.

This role requires a minimum of three years as a Journeyman Millwright and/or Pipefitter and/or Machinist, or two years with an Industrial Technology degree; Journeyman status is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as Journeyman Millwright/Pipefitter/Machinist in an industrial setting.
• Or 2 years as above with a two-year degree in Industrial Technology.
• Journeyman status documented.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, repair and fabricate metal parts using blueprints and sketches.
• Install and maintain machinery using hoists, lift trucks and power tools.
• Repair equipment to improve reliability, safety and uptime.
