Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC's Muskogee Tissue, Towel and Napkin Mill seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation Swing Shift Technician. This 12-hour rotating shift supports maintenance and reliability across our mill operations with a focus on electrical and instrumentation tasks.

The role requires an associate/technical degree in a relevant field or higher, 2+ years of troubleshooting experience, PLC ladder logic knowledge, and proficiency with schematics and test equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate/Technical degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems, Instrumentation, or Electronic Technology.
• Two+ years of Electrical/Electronic/Controls troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing or military setting.
• Experience reading and following electrical schematics/blueprints; use of electrical test devices.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment and systems to maintain machine performance.
• Inspect machinery to identify issues or reliability/production gaps.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to improve machine reliability.
• Read/interpret electrical schematics, PLC ladder logic, and related diagrams.
• Communicate daily work performed and machine conditions via documentation.
• Work 12-hour shifts, including holidays and weekends as needed.
