Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor at the Metallurgical Complex in Columbus, MT. The role leads hourly electricians and E&I technicians, coordinating maintenance tasks, safety practices, and asset protection. Strong leadership and PLC knowledge are required.

The position demands hands-on supervision, effective communication, and collaboration with Operations and Training to maintain equipment availability and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance and electrical/instrumentation functions.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership to train and mentor hourly staff and resolve conflicts.
• Familiarity with PLCs and process control systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA/MSHA rules and electrical safety practices.
• Effective verbal and written communication with detailed record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of electricians and E&I technicians.
• Coordinate installation, testing and monitoring of electrical equipment.
• Schedule and allocate resources for maintenance tasks.
• Develop and communicate safety goals and training plans.
• Prepare work orders and ensure PM activities are completed.
• Conduct area inspections and safety meetings.
• Support budget understanding and asset protection.
