Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater in Columbus, MT is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to lead the hourly maintenance team at the Metallurgical Complex. This role coordinates selection, installation, testing and monitoring of electrical equipment, and schedules resources to complete maintenance tasks while ensuring safety and asset protection.

Qualifications

Experience with electrical and instrumentation in an industrial setting.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong leadership to train and mentor hourly employees.
Familiar with PLCs and process control systems.
Knowledge of OSHA/MSHA rules and regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication, and record keeping.
Proficient with Word, Excel and CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

Ensure electricians and E&I techs have the tools, knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely.
Promote and maintain a safe work environment and safety culture.
Hold people accountable, document performance, and address issues.
Coordinate pass downs and communicate maintenance goals with the crew.
Maximize the availability of plant equipment in line with policies.
Prepare Work Orders and execute Preventive Maintenance with Operations.
